For years, audiences have been wondering what happened to Arthur Curry’s missing kingdom. Thanks to new archaeological discoveries, we now know the answer: it was destroyed by a powerful earthquake. And in this week’s Aquaman #14, the cause of the quake is revealed.
As the title suggests, Aquaman #14 is all about the lost kingdom of Atlantis. Writer Dan Abnett and artist Jesus Merino bring readers an action-packed tale that’ll have them on the edge of their seats from beginning to end.
In this issue, we learn that Arthur Curry’s father, King Orin, was behind the destruction of Atlantis – and his ultimate goal was to find and harness the power of the Atlantean Trident. But Orin’s plan went awry, and Atlantis was destroyed in a powerful earthquake.
Now, Arthur Curry must find out what happened to his father’s kingdom before it’s too late – and he’ll need help from some unlikely allies along the way!
Lost Kingdom
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is a new DC Comics series set to debut later this year. The series is written by Peter J. Tomasi and drawn by Patrick Gleason. Aquaman is teaming up with Arthur Curry’s half-brother, Orm, in order to find King Arthur’s lost kingdom.
Tomasi has said that the series will be more like a “superhero detective story.” This sounds like it could be an interesting take on Aquaman, whose character has been somewhat stagnant in recent years. Gleason is one of the most talented artists working in comics today, so I’m looking forward to seeing his artwork in this series.
Aquaman: The Search for the Lost Kingdom
Atlantis has been lost to the depths of the ocean for centuries, but Aquaman is on a mission to find it. He’s teamed up with a group of adventurers to find the lost kingdom and uncover its secrets.
Atlantis Attacks
Atlantis Attacks is the new comic book series from DC Comics that stars Aquaman and his crew of underwater explorers as they fight to save their lost kingdom from a mad scientist bent on using it for nefarious purposes. The first issue is now available, and CBR has an exclusive first look at the cover and solicit.
Atlantis Attacks features familiar characters like Aquaman, Mera, Vulko, Orm and Triton, but also introduces new faces like Vulko’s daughter Nyssa and Aquaman’s half-brother Nereus. The series takes place after Geoff Johns’ Aquaman: Rebirth storyline, so readers will recognize some of the fallout from that story. Johns has already hinted at some of the bigger threats that Aquaman and his team will face in Atlantis Attacks, including a giant sea monster called Leviathan.
The series is written by Dan Abnett with art by Scot Eaton and an all-star lineup of colorists including John Romita Jr., Dexter Vines, Hi-Fi and Ruy Jose. Atlantis Attacks is scheduled to debut in December 2017.

The Battle of Atlantis
The battle of Atlantis took place in the year 1984 and it was a very important event for Aquaman. The Atlanteans were a powerful civilization that had many powerful ships and weapons. They were also very skilled in warfare, which is why Aquaman was so determined to defeat them. He fought bravely against their forces and eventually managed to win the battle. This victory helped him become a more respected member of the Justice League and it also cemented his place as one of the world’s greatest heroes.
The Rescue
With the release of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, moviegoers finally got a glimpse at Atlantis. The kingdom was first mentioned in the comics, but it wasn’t until this film that we saw its full glory. Fans of the comics will be happy to know that Aquaman’s home was largely untouched by the humans who invaded it. This left plenty of room for new characters and stories to be told in future films.
Atlantis is a massive underwater city with towering skyscrapers, luxurious palaces, and even its own airport. It’s also home to King Orin and his court of mermen. The Atlanteans are incredibly advanced, possessing technology that exceeds anything on land. For example, they have vehicles that can travel through water at speeds greater than 500 mph!
The Atlanteans were long thought to be extinct, but King Orin revealed that they were secretly living among us all this time. He has been working tirelessly to protect his kingdom and restore order to Atlantis. In order to do this, he needs the help of Aquaman and his team of adventurers.
The Rescue is the third installment in the Aquaman series and takes place after The War of The Realms. Arthur
